Suitable Outdoor Clothes
As the rain and colder weather seems to have arrived, please ensure
your child is bringing suitable outdoor clothing to nursery. We recommend
water-proof coats and wellies and if possible a hat, scarf & gloves
also. Please also ensure your child has some rubber-soled slippers or
indoor shoes at nursery.
Bringing Toys to Nursery
We are getting a lot of toys brought in from home and often being left
here. We would prefer if children kept their toys at home so they do
not get lost. If you do allow your child to bring toys in, they will
be put into a basket for you to collect when you pick your child up.
Staff will take no responsibility for toys which then get lost.
Harvest Festival
We would like to thank those of you who brought something in for our
Harvest Festival basket. The children will shortly be taking these items
to those who need them more than us.
Holidays
We hope that all of you had lovely holidays wherever you have been.
If you are planning any holidays please ensure you inform us 4 weeks
in advance.
Flexi-Time
If you require flexible hours, we remind you that we need your hours
2 weeks in advance to ensure we can rota in the correct amount of staff.
Illness
It is getting to that time of year where there are colds and bugs going
round. If your child is ill and won’t be attending nursery please
ensure you phone in to let us know. Please be aware that some illnesses
have exclusion periods which can be found in our policies file. If you
would like a copy, please ask a member of staff.
Fingerprint Access
If you have not had your thumb print done to gain access to nursery,
please ask a member of staff and we will ensure this is done for you.
Please also remember not to let anybody into the nursery if you don’t
know who they are.
